Detailed description

Killearn Country Club & Inn is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Tallahassee, Florida. Up until 2016, Killian had three 9-hole courses. The were The North Nine, The South Nine, and The East Nine. They can be paired North/South, East/North, and South/East to form 3 different 18-hole combinations.

The Killearn North Nine and South Nine opened for play in 1969. They were designed by Bill Amick. The East Nine was also designed by Bill. The East Nine opened in 1979. In 2016, the North Nine was closed, the property will be sold to developers. All proceeds from the sale will be reinvested in the remaining 18-hole course consisting of what was The South Nine and The East Nine.

These courses have hosted several championship events each year including the PGA Classic and the Sprint Central.  The South/East Course is the tournament course.  It is the longest and most challenging of the three.  The fairways vary from tree lined to open, and the greens are fast.

The North Course is thickly tree lined, and there is a large lake that comes into play on a few holes.

The East Course has water coming into play on two holes, and the fairways are generous.  .

The East course is the newest of the three nines having opened in 1979.

All nines play to a par-36. The South course plays to a maximum distance of 3,486 yards, The East - 3,430 yards, and The North - 3,277 yards.

Only members, their guests, and hotel guests may play these courses.
